Mission Hills to participate in WFF

China’s leading hospitality, sports and leisure company Mission Hills Group has confirmed its participation in the World Football Forum. Over the past 20 years, Mission Hills has made a huge contribution to sports development in China – indeed the company’s founder and former Chairman Dr. David Сhu led the special advisory council for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Bidding Committee and helped to successfully secure the Games for China in July 2001. Mission Hills was a major sponsor of the 2009 East Asian Games in Hong Kong and assisted Shenzhen City in its successful bid to host the 2011 Universiade.

Among Mission Hills’ most recent project is China’s first football club academy in Hainan province launched in collaboration with FC Barcelona and with support of club ambassador Ronaldinho. Furthermore, Mission Hills has made a commitment to the grassroots development of football in China with the launch of a nationwide Junior Football League, with a target of 60,000 kids across 14 cities by the end of 2017. We are thrilled that Mehrdad Sadraei, CEO and Founder of Pro Evolution Athletes, the organisation working with Mission Hills to deliver the nationwide junior leagues, will speak at WFF's panel session on grassroots development – ‘Educating China’s Kids’.
